Many of them can be applied on the wrists or behind the ears. Another favorite location is on the chest to better smell the properties of the blends.

Another recommendation is to practice mindfulness and breathing techniques while using essential oils. For example, if you struggle with anxiety, a powerful option to reduce stress and fear is to apply the essential oil, breathe in four seconds, and breathe out four seconds. Repeat this for 1-2 minutes until you feel your heart rate decrease and the breath elongate.
