The natural goatskin drumhead is individually hand-painted with an Earth Elements design, bringing together imagery inspired by earth, air, fire and water. Each piece has its own character, both visually and sonically.
Unlike a synthetic drumhead, natural goatskin responds to its environment. Temperature and humidity can affect the tension of the skin and therefore the sound of the drum. This is a normal characteristic of natural-hide drums.
Because genuine goatskin naturally varies, differences in coloring, shading, markings and texture are to be expected. These are not imperfections—they are part of the organic character of the material and mean no two drums will be exactly alike.
